About Us

Raglan Club Inc. is a long-standing community-based club offering great hospitality, entertainment, dining, and facilities to our members and guests. With growing activity across our bar, restaurant, gaming and events, we’re strengthening our administration team to support the next stage of development.

We are looking for an organised, proactive Office Manager who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys variety. This is a key role that supports the smooth running of the club and works closely with the Operations Manager, Treasurer, and Accountant.


About the Role

The Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, financial processing, compliance, member communication, and organisational support functions of the Club.

Your role will ensure the “back office” runs efficiently so the operational team can focus on delivering great hospitality to our members.


Key Responsibilities

Financial & Administration

  • Enter invoices, payments, and revenue data into Xero
  • Assist with payroll preparation and collating staff records
  • Reconcile accounts and provide regular reporting to the Treasurer and Accountant
  • Maintain supplier records and manage purchase orders

Compliance & Governance

  • Maintain Health & Safety documentation and compliance registers
  • Support licensing, contracts, renewals, and statutory reporting
  • Keep confidential employment records secure and up to date

Operations Support

  • Assist with rostering and timesheet accuracy
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and Committee
  • Manage internal communication, bookings, and club-wide documentation

Member Services

  • Assist with membership renewals, card issues, and communications
  • Support newsletter updates, website content, and social media postings
  • Ensure positive engagement with members and visitors

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong administration experience (3+ years preferred)
  • Good understanding of accounts or bookkeeping (Xero knowledge ideal)
  • Intermediate to expert level in Microsoft applications, especially excel
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • A proactive approach, able to identify issues and solve problems
  • A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
